Tod Mountain

North Columbia

Recent wind transport creating hard wind slab. 25cm foot pen in trees. South face of Tod has been heavily wind affected and is down to melt freeze crust.
Trees islands on ridge. Wind deposited snow to Lee slope. Lots of shooting cracks once I touched the wind deposit. Mellow slope with a very hard wind slab on top of melt freeze crust. Did not step down from melt freeze crust.
