Mountain Conditions Report

<p>Climbed North and Centre Goodsirs Jul 18-20 for Alpinism.com. Started with a flight to the Sentry-Zinc col just outside the park. From there we traversed below south Goodsir along the treeline and ascended the gully below centre Goodsir to a high bivy at 3040m. No overnight freeze on the 18th but travel on snow along sections of the horizontal V and in the upper gully on Goodsir north was excellent. Good firm neve. Only witnessed a little rockfall but was expecting more given the terrain and horrendous rock. </p> <p>Centre Goodsir west ridge and SW face was dry. </p> <p>We walked out today from our high bivy to stagging area along the Ice Main Road. The flowers were in full bloom, and so was the alder ?<br /> Bring extra shoes for the wet flats described in Bill Corbetts book. </p> <p>South tower is very close to being completely snow free.</p>
