Fun in the sun…with a few slabs
Northwest Coastal

Wow with the sun. So nice to see it. Little to no wind all day to 1450 m’s. Lg, like up to 10 mm corn flake sized surface growing all over the place. Natural avalanches seen in high alpine, Super Bowl steep lookers left cliff bands produced slabs that spread out over 200 or more m’s. Also a 1.5 or so in zymbuk 2/3 area as other MIN mentioned, see pic. Some sloughs in steep sout facing terrain as well in alpine. 2 skier/rider sz 1 slabs initiated today too. 1 mid slope below fish and chips after convex role. See pic and 1 in North bowl tree chutes area below steep convex features. Pic also. Sloughs can at times run far and fast, more so in the sun kissed south to west facing slopes. Other wise snow rode amazing with white room heel slide slashes.
