Rae "Glacier"

We were able to ski in from the parking lot. There is low snow coverage @ TL and BTL, mostly recent storm snow. We heard a few small whumps in the creekbed, but we had to stick mainly to the summer trail due to poor coverage. HS improved in the alpine, averaging ~75cm. A few blown in spots were much deeper, maximum measured HS @ 195cm. Below 2300m along the lower moraines was barely covered rocks and was tricky to descend safely without damaging our skis. Above 2300m was decent powder snow with a solid base, which by 2550m began to firm up. We topped out at 2850m, where the snow was firm and grippy, but still fun skiing. We noticed some slide debris below the top cliff band, likey point release. We noticed the snow becoming more slabby on the eastern side of the bowl where the wind had deposited it, making windslab a convex roll. Had some moderate results here (Pop on CT 14, ~25cm down) in a quick pit we dug. Snow went from 4f to 1f gradually, and had a small layer of facets (~3cm) at the base.
