Skinned up between the burnt knob and fuzzy knob up to 1600-1700m. Observed natural sluffing on the chutes above the col near the top of the burnt knob (lookers right) and heard a lot of whumpfing. We rode down into the trees until we reached lower angle terrain in the burnt knob and rode deep powder till the skin track.
There was debris on one of the burnt knob run outs that looked to be 2-4 days old. And a tree has fallen on the skin track next to the debris. Whether the fallen tree is result of the avalanche debris is uncertain. Photos 2,3,4 should illustrate the debris and fallen tree.
