The storm begins!

<p>Today we travelled around the upper tree line around Fraser waiting for some light to go higher up, which never arrived.... We skied 2 short laps in the open trees and learned that the best riding was in the denser trees where there was shelter from the wind, and that the new snow is only thinly covering old tracks that were easy to feel underfoot. Warm temperatures around -3 at 1200m, and about 10cm of fresh snow, with gusty southwest winds ushering in this new storm. </p>
