Hot in Harvey

<p>Beautiful sunny day up at harvey. No wind at all. This had us avoiding sunny slopes and skiing the shaded areas which had great dry snow as well as reduced avalanche danger today. Cornices are big in the area and their backs were in full sun, so we modified our typical turn around point to a bit lower and further into the trees to give us a margin of safety. We saw a lot of terrain with great visibility. No new avalanches today but we left the backcountry mid afternoon before the hottest part of the day. There were a few size 2 avalanches from the storm early in the week. </p>
