Hero's knob

<p>Was going to ski the Roberson but it was so foggy in the morning so we headed to Heros. It ended up clearing by 11...We avoid using ski crampons by boot packing a lot. Overcast overnight but -2. C in the parking made for a plasticy freeze. South bowl had great skiing around 113O when it softned up. North side had 80m of pow followed by pow over frozen debry then breakable crust. The lower third had a nice supportive crust and skied nicely. Did a couple laps on the Murray moraine with perfect corn and back to the car at 2. The crust was still supportive through the trees. This morning at 6am counted 45 deer and two elk on the 40. There got scared off in the afternoon. North end of the spray lakes road is small washer board and the south end is in perfect shape.</p>
