NRC gully

<p>Went up NRC shoulder. Dug multiple test pits, identified a harder layer (1F) about 20 to 30cm down with no slab properties above (F) and consolidated mid-snowpack below (4F towards 1F lower).
Wind crust and no soft snow once in alpine.
Going down NRC gully, second skier down triggered a size 2 soft slab above the cliff skiers right. Planar failure, avg 20cm crown, up to 50cm. Propagated 20m either side of skier. Smooth bed surface, looked like slab failed on PP over harder 1F layer.
No injuries, no lost gear. Skier was able to ski right under small cliff and stop.</p>
