Went for a little tour above powder king we dug our pit above the Tbar. The new storm snow is taking its time bonding to the hard consolidated snow our biggest concern was slugging so we avoided steep unsupported slopes. There was strong winds coming in from the NE so we didn’t spend much time in the alpine and headed for more protected terrain. Lots of signs of instability in the upper layers due to the winds (shooting cracks) great riding to be had in the trees.
