<p>5-10 cm of new snow showed good bonding to the recent melt/rain crust on S and SE facing aspects. Low overall snow depth had rocks and stumps lurking in all directions. As we gained altitude in the valley, both new snow and overall snowpack depth increased, but the overall skiing experience was pretty boney. </p>
