Great day up on Tent ridge, 10-15cm of fresh snow overnight with some wind affect but no signs of any wind slabs which was surprising. We encountered extremely strong westerly winds once we gained the ridge, I'd suspect over 80kph as we was struggling to stay stood up as we hiked along the ridge. We dug a pit to double check what we had already observed and the snowpack looked pretty good. No result on an ECT and no crusts at 2300m (NE Aspect), we could feel one below treeline though. We had to do a little cornice work to get a good entrance to drop in, which again did nothing to the snowpack. The ride down was great with plenty of pow turns.
