Inversions rule!

A glorious inversion, made the incised south facing drainage off the peak above fraser chutes a treat.
Riding conditions were dust on crust but temps were pleasant and the walls of the drainage gave it a nice "sunpit" effect. Winds were calm down low, and the inversion was strongest between 1350m &1650m. Above, to ridge top, got cold again with a light S breeze.
On the approach we saw thin needle like surface hoar around bryant lake (only present at the valley fog elevation). We also saw one older(48hours ish) size 1 avalanche on a steep roll in a normal sledding area. Slab chunks were large and hard (50cm thick).
