<p>Good day in the Marten Ridge area today, where we found 150 cm of snow at 1750m, just enough to give us great clearcut riding (amongst the stumps and snags that are still a hazard!)..
The sun came out periodically through the day, but it stayed cool enough that the snow wasn’t affected (-6 at 2pm at 1750 m)..
Moderate SW winds were starting to move some snow right at ridgetop, but had no effect in open Treeline areas today..
We saw no natural avalanches today at Treeline or below (no Alpine terrain in this area), saw no signs of instability in the moderate terrain we rode, and had no significant test results in a hasty pit at Treeline..
