Avalanche observation

Iannick Cyr Michaud, Saturday 8th February, 2025 10:38PM

Attempted yet again to get to forever young... Halfway up great glacier trail heading towards lookout, we remote triggered a very small wind slab 3 metres away, few metres wide. We talked it over and decided to keep going keeping in mind what we saw. Not 1 hour later, on a N/NE aspect off of glacier crest we watched a size 2.5 naturally Release. (Cool thing to witness) We decided to stick to lower stuff after seeing that. In the picture. The green line was the original slide but when it reached the yellow line there must’ve been a deeper pocket because it realeased and double if not tripled in size.
