Fist Couloir

Skied the fist couloir,Tryst lake chutes and super slope today. The snow in the couloir was deep and powdery which made for great skiing but hard climbing. There was a small cornice shedding event with maybe a microwave size block which gave us a good scare in the couloir but the snow itself showed no sign of instability.
The chutes had many skiers on them today but still skied quite well and had 10cms of new snow on top of the old tracks.
The top half of Super slope had a nasty breakable sun crust up top which I wouldn’t recommend. Luckily it disappeared in the trees and was not present on the lower half of the chutes of superslope.

Terrain Ridden
