Dust on Crust

With low avalanche hazard and sun in the forecast, we decided to go after a big line in Torpy. On the way up, we mostly boot-packed on a supportive crust. There was enough snow above 1500m to switch to skis but we found it easier and faster to keep boot-packing up to the ridgecrest. On top of the crust, we found 10cm of low density that added some fun to the ski down. With field conditions matching the forecast, we got to ski a large, steep, and open slope from ridgecrest to below the treeline.
