Observed small sz .5 facets rounding out above Dec. 7th crust. Snowpack very consolidated, CTN x2. Saw sz 3 surface hoar on N - NW aspects whn touring up, sz .5-1 on open S - SE side.
Bluebird and warm above the inversion!
