Wind slabs at Seaton

Today we rode in the Seaton meadows and even snuck up into the alpine when the visibility allowed. There was up to 30 cm of storm snow above 1500 meters. The ridge top winds were howling from the west, redistributing the snow and building wind slabs down into the treeline. Below 1500 meters elevation the storm snow tapers quickly and we believe that it rained during the storm up to 1300 meters. The best riding can be found at higher elevations but watch out for wind loaded slopes.
