At 2400m the height of snow was ~120cm and we skied down to 1900m which had ~70cm. Travelling along ridge top the surfaces were variable with many thick to thin spots, wind press and typical facets on the ground.
We skied South to Northwest aspects and found the best snow with a polar tilt. We did however experience multiple settlements at tree line but did not see shooting cracks or slab properties.
During the heat of the day, the solar aspects held moist snow and will likely create a small surface crust. About 30cm overlies a supportive sun crust @2100m
Lots of tracks out there, but still some good skiing if you look hard enough.
