<p>Surpringly great conditions on North aspects. No rain crust, maybe 30cm of powder, wind affect mostly restricted to ridge tops. Some slight firmness from wind throughout but still great quality riding. Some sluffing on steep slopes but no other signs of instability we noticed on North-facing lines. Some whumpfing on the uptrack to the dome on south aspect. </p>

Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.
