Skinned to Commonwealth ridge and skied the first slide path. Winds were moderate and snow was on and off w/ total accumulation to 3-7cm.
Snowpack was variable, 10-15cm of powder on wind slab in alpine/subalpine, up to ~40cm on top of slab Mid to lower chute and treeline.
Multiple ski cuts (belayed and non) created no significant reactions.
Moderate sloughing of storm layer throughout chute with little to no propagation. More consolidated towards the bottom.
Overall, it skied very well and timed it perfectly with virtually no wind and clear sky.
