We started the day around 0°c and finish at 2°c (at the pullout). All day the wind was moderate to strong and the snow started at 13h. We tried to get higher than 1100m but there was no visibility and it was flat light. Lots of snow transport. We experienced shooting crack along the way and release couple of pocket. The snow was slabby, crusty & hard. Soft snow was hard to find the alpine and at treeline. Throughout the day the temperature warmed up and the snow changed. The snow got heavy and moist. The wind slabs lies on a supportive crust and it’s pretty reactive.
