Pedley Ma's and Monster Whumphs

Nice day at Pedley. Snowpack is very facetted, upside-down and punchy. Best skiing was on the south where the slab is mostly supportive for skiers. We skied low angle terrain but had some monster whumphs that shook trees 20m away and lots of shooting cracks too. We witnessed a sledder trigger a size 1.5 deep persistent slab in the main north facing path with no involvement (see avalanche tab). Looks like the middle of this path slid a few weeks ago. There was also evidence of some older sled triggered avalanches near bumpy meadows. HS ~90cm at treeline.
