Can't confirm when the avalanche was. There was no new snow ontop of the debris. It seemed recent.
Snow conditions were: Crusty, Powder, Wind affected. Weather conditions were: Cloudy, Foggy. We rode: Alpine slopes, Open trees, Steep slopes. We avoided: Convex slopes. Riding quality was good.
Avalanche
Seems to have been triggered by a cornice fall. Likely failed on the crusty layer about 20- 30 cm down. We did not investigate the start zone. Avalanche seems to have been recent, no new snow covering debris.
