Snow conditions were: Powder. Weather conditions were: Warm, Sunny. We rode: Mellow slopes, Dense trees, Open trees. We avoided: Alpine slopes, Convex slopes. Riding quality was good.

Snowpack

Pit on 32 degree NE slope at 1765 m. CTH 24 (SP) down 50 on SH (2-3mm) ECTP 27 down 50 on SH (2-3mm) 40 cm F-4F new snow on a 10cm thick layer with multiple crusts. 2-3mm surface hoar 10cm below top crust seeing hard, but Sudden Planar and full propagation results in CT and ECT tests. rounded grains to ground.
