Sherbrooke Lake Avy Paths

Visited Sherbrooke lake with the intention of riding the avalanche paths. The area was wind affected and looked like there may have been a few good lines, but overall not very snow covered. The snow depth on the lake varied from the south end (about 2 inches in depth) to the north end (about 1 ft+ in depth). We decided to ride a mellow line in the avy path on the ne end of the lake as there seemed to be more snow coverage. (This path is not in the guide book but is just past the 3rd avy path that is mentioned in the book). We also dug a pit in the area we rode. Generally seemed pretty stable. The column collapsed on the 21st tap maybe about 30inches down.
There were also several parties riding the Ogden side who went up to the false summit on the nw side of the lake. Ogden looked a lot more snow covered in comparison (likely due to wind loading). Saw large cornices on the ridgeline of Ogden as well.
