Pow day with a touch of windslab
South Columbia

Skied south aspect in the pass between 1750m and 2300m. Great snow for skiing. Gladed areas felt bottomless. Open slopes had a very slight crust under lots of new snow. The new snow was sluffing dry loose on steeper rolls. The main issue we managed was a pretty reactive wind slab on lee features near ridgeline which had potential to propagate and pull along dry loose storm snow if triggered.
