Becher Crust

<p>Crust all the way up to the top of Becher. Signs of past avalanche activity on wind loaded terrain, however a bomber crust has since formed over everything. Riding out was a task with the breakable crust. Lots of tree bombs (some the size of a person!) from the rapid warming in the afternoon.</p>

Convex slopes, Mellow slopes, Open trees, Steep slopes, Sunny slopes.

Terrain Avoided

Alpine slopes.

Avalanche Conditions

Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.

Snow Conditions

Crusty.

Weather Conditions

Foggy, Sunny, Warm.
