Heavily facetted top 30 cm surface snow sloughing to skier traffic in steeper terrain.

Snow conditions were: Deep powder. Weather conditions were: Cold, Sunny. We rode: Open trees. Riding quality was good.


Top 30 cm heavily facetted with P-1F mid-pack, November crust 30 cm above ground with depth hoar to ground below. Surface hoar sz 2-4 @ 61cm laying down.


Few loose dry observed in steep alpine terrain.
