Where's the ... crust ? SSV Rock Isle Lake

<p>Hot lapped Rock Isle Lake out of SSV slack country a few times, between 2250-2400m North facing. No Halloween crust to be found - just bottomless facets (already). Was hoping for a bit more support but the rocky terrain and extended cold spell seems to have faceted everything out in no time flat. Still pretty amazing early season conditions. HS varied between 50-60cm.</p>
