Quick spin up Ursus Trees to check on conditions. Above 1900 m the coverage starts to become reasonable with average depths of 80-120 cms. There is around 40 cms of storm snow sitting on top of a melt freeze crust on most solar aspects to at least 2000 m. It snowed steady all day and the alpine received 5-7 cms through the day. Not much noticed for winds. The most recent storm snow was reacting as a soft slab on steep rolls or unsupported features and running as loose dry/sluff in steeper terrain. We observed a natural size 1.5-2 loose dry from the steep head wall above the North Cheops Bowl.
