<p>A great day up Boulder today with good weather and visibility. At the cabin the area has about 20cm of fresh powder over a pretty hard 4-10cm thick crust that's mostly supportive, but it is possible to break through it. There's still the odd open creek hole lurking and early season hazard but some decent riding to be found besides that.Total snowpack is around 130cm. We saw no signs of avalanches but didn't travel very widely either, and didnt go above the treeline at all. Winds getting a little gusty and blowing snow around as we left the area in the afternoon.
