Another Fraser MIN post

Can confirm great skiing at Fraser. 45 cm of recent storm stow (F-4F) sits on 10-20 of harder (1F) wind packed particles. No wind effect was observed (upto 1750m). Recent surface riming could be felt but didn't detract from ski quuality. Below the storm was a variable 10-20cm thick layer of firmer (1F) previously wind packed particles. Thin 2 cm layer of lower density (4F) decomposing fragments can be found sandwiched between this and the November crust, (down 60-80). This layer prodced moderate sudden planar results in compression tests but did not show any propogation propensity in an extended colomn test. Nor did we encounter ainy whumpgin other signs of buried instablity
