Trapper Gilowski, Saturday 8th February, 2025 10:38PM

Today in the hasler we had the new snow interface reacting in the easy range a soft slab down 25cm reacting on preserved stellar a and small surface hoar (2-3mm) we also had the facet persistent weak layer reacting in the moderate range in our test pit this layer was 145cm deep. Hight of snow was 170cm. This layer is reactive especially in shallow snowpack areas such as rocky ridges. A natural size 2 was observed today suspected sliding layer was the facet layer as some spots of ground were visible. Ride safe and ride smart out there folks the snowpack is super reactive especially with the recent warming!
