Decent skiing at Vermilion today if you stuck to the sheltered spots. The lower slide path is moguls, but the burn skiing and upper slide path have reset decently. No wind effect on the snow until about 2400m, and skiing below that is good powder. More southerly aspects, like the right side of the path, have caught more sun and are somewhat crusty.

Snow conditions were: Crusty, Powder. Weather conditions were: Windy, Cloudy. We rode: Alpine slopes, Mellow slopes, Dense trees, Convex slopes, Open trees. Riding quality was good.

Lunchtime weather observation. At 12pm broken sky and light south winds at 2300m, within the hour and closer to ridge top clouds had rolled in and winds picked up to moderate. Snowing S-1 most of the day.
