Observed one natural/possibly skier triggered 1-1.5 wind loaded slab off the moraine around 1900m. Observed two skier triggered avalanches - one on a slope over 45 degrees - storm slab 5cm-10cm; wind impacted area. Observed a skier triggered avalanche on a 45 degree wind loaded slope (pictured). 6-10m crown line approximately 25-30cm thick at crown line. Snow quality was good otherwise, unable to get anything to release in trees or steep small aspects for testing, appears to be mainly wind impacted and wind transported terrain.
Snow conditions were: Crusty, Wind affected, Powder. Weather conditions were: Cold, Sunny. We rode: Mellow slopes, Open trees. We avoided: Steep slopes, Convex slopes. Riding quality was good.
Avalache Conditions: Slab avalanches today or yesterday.
