Telkwas from Houston

<p>Visibility was poor with snow falling at a rate of 1cm an hour or less. The wind was light from the southeast. We travelled across the ridge and dropped down into the meadows where we did a snow profile. See the Snowpack section for the description. There was approximately 5 cm of new snow during the day. The upper and mid snowpack are well settled and strong, however the weak sugary facets and depth hoar continue to be a concern.</p>
