Turned around at the glacier whilst heading to Crowfoot due to bad visibility with clouds sitting on the summit. Felt much warmer than forecast throughout the day, particularly in the sun. Ski out through the moraines was decent, crusty but skiable enough. A few large cornice failures observed on solar aspects. Lots of large pinwheels and debris through the second canyon on exit.

Snow conditions were: Crusty, Wet, Wind affected. Weather conditions were: Cloudy, Warm. We rode: Alpine slopes, Convex slopes, Dense trees, Mellow slopes. We avoided: Sunny slopes. Riding quality was good.

Avalache Conditions: Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.
