Moderate winds with severe gusts had us seek some shelter after a lap at Parkers where the snow was a wind blown dust on a generally supportive wind slab. Moving over to Hilda area the winds were much more tolerable and although wind affected in the alpine , we found decent skiing in a feature the winds were blowing softer snow into. Open tree line and below ski quality was good. No instabilities noted today during our ski , nor any natural avalanche activity noted with decent visibility around the area.

Snow conditions were: Crusty, Hard, Wind affected, Powder. Weather conditions were: Cold, Windy, Cloudy. We rode: Alpine slopes, Mellow slopes, Dense trees, Steep slopes, Open trees. Riding quality was ok.
