Seaton storm slabs

We found about 20cm new snow that was generally evenly distributed across the terrain.
We triggered a size 1 storm slab avalanche on a NE aspect in the alpine, at the top of a steep couloir, 30cm deep, soft slab, but running fast and far. We saw one other recent size 1 storm slab out of a steep lee feature at treeline.
The cornices on ridgelines are very large and we avoided these.
A mixed bag today with the weather, flurries and occasional strong W winds, but with calm and sunny periods.
