Went for a walk, dug a pit, and skied the mellow slope below my pit. Skiing was fairly tracked out in places but still lots of fun to be had on mellow slopes at the moment. Uptrack is in great condition as well. Experienced no winds for the third day in a row and air temp at 1250 was -12.
Pit was on NE and 30 degree slope. Layers were all very obvious and the reactive ones were not a surprise. CTE4 down 13 RP, CTE6 down 23 RP, and the layer of current concern, CTM12 down 50 SP. Slid about halfway off the column on the tap and stayed together. Strong temp gradient (about 2 degrees on either side) backs up the SH layer that failed.
