Gorge 17km
North Columbia

Skied the gorge on Saturday and made an early start as the temps looked to rising throughout the day. A crust layer sat on the snow up to around 1700m and it was sitting on heavy pow. Snow nice to ski above 1700m but heavy. Some sloughing occurred on steeper slopes/convex rolls and there was evidence of lots of pinwheels from warm weather on steeper slopes and below trees. It started snowing around 1pm and by the time we got to the road at around 2.30pm it was raining.
