Thin thin

As Steve said, it's bony out there.
Ski tour up into the Taiya zone.
Very thin coverage. Rocks coated but not covered to the toe of the glacier.
135 cm snow probed low on the glacier, 125 at the top.
Some open water on the uptrack but generally decent travel. Such thin coverage any other skiing (than glacier) difficult to not practical / possible.
8cm new snow, unaffected by wind. The decent on the glacier would have skied pretty well but our vis was trending to ping pong ball.
We caught a nice inversion, -16 at the road and -4 at 1500m
Great to be out moving in the mountains, watch your bones and gear if you want to make turns.
