Snowpack
We dug a snow pit in open trees on the shoulder of the Dome. Hoar frost present on the surface (1.1cm length) from yesterday's sun exposure. Pit depth was roughly 175cm deep. Tap test performed, and after 20+ shoulder hits a break occurred at 145cm. This break did not slide. A few more shoulder hits produced a fracture down the middle of the column.
