4-8cm of recent snow added to the 20-25cm over the 2/7 crust. Wind affect above about 1800m . SW-W winds crossloading NW-W aspects and directly loading NE. Some slopes scoured down to the crust, others isolated pockets of wind drifts snow 10-20cm.

Snow conditions were: Crusty, Wind affected, Powder. Weather conditions were: Cloudy. We rode: Dense trees, Convex slopes, Open trees. Riding quality was ok.

Snowpack

Small (0.5-1mm) facets above the recent crust. Upper snowpack 4-8cm of new snow (DF) over 20cm of DF (4F), with 1cm of small facets above crust. Facets are poorly developed but observable.
