dug a pit on NE aspect in lee feature just below ridgeline. 15cm of 4F snow (wind slab) overlies a softer layer of F density snow. The december crust complex is 52-75cm down. Below is alternating crust and 1F density facets (1-2mm). See profile. Rode open slopes up to 35 degrees and saw no evidence of instabilities while skiing. Wind slabs reactive to hand shear tests.

Snow conditions were: Wind affected. Weather conditions were: Cloudy. We rode: Alpine slopes, Open trees. Riding quality was good.
