Second of two skiers in open trees was caught in slide. ~ class 2. Trigger/start zone was not clear. May have been a very in-obvious remote trigger, or possible natural. Visibility was poor, including due to trees, in terms of determining start zone. Slope angle was similar to first run of day, but a bit more open, and more open and steeper above point where party skied into 'open tree' environment. Some snow in mouth/throat of skier. Lots of effort put into moving arms in front of face and ended up in downslope facing, somewhat upright position, one ski remaining on. Tumbling was involved. Snow stayed soft, so self-extrication was possible. No photos taken. Whumphing frequent on way up, but no shooting cracks.
