First day of school

Great day to hide from the sunshine up Kindergarten. Not entirely tropical but some mild wallowing kept us warm enough. Tagged the cornice at the top but decided against going over for a view. variable snow throughout the couloir with anything between 0-30 cm of powder on top of the MF crust made for fairly cautious skiing on the way down. Quite a lot of wind affect throughout the upper sections of the line, but no slab formation observed. No signs of recent instability, with very minor sluffing off the walls observed. One other party below us enjoying the fruits of our labour on the boot pack. Able to establish a safe spot and ski past with little problem. Manageable minor sluffing on ski down. Great day, excellent company, cold hands.
