I think Avalanche Canada’s mission to create a network of free public information on snow conditions is inconsistent with posting a MIN and hiding where they collected the information as a field team. Culture of secrecy around mountains is toxic, and dangerous. That’s why Avalanche Canada created the Mountain Information Network.
The line which the Avalanche Canada team did is called Queen’s Couloir, and I’m stoked for them they found it in such good conditions on March 6!
